About the client

Maison Galli is a Geneva interior architecture atelier with roots going back to 1890, now run by its third generation under director Joanna Choukroun-Lévy. Over 130 years the family business has grown from a Carouge cabinet-making workshop into a full-service interior architecture studio: a 400 m² showroom on Place du Bourg-de-Four presenting prestige furniture brands, and a 2,300 m² manufacture in Meyrin producing bespoke joinery, upholstery and finishings.

The brief

Maison Galli needed a website that carried the same sense of elegance, sobriety and craftsmanship as their interiors — a digital front door worthy of a 130-year-old maison, built to convert Geneva's high-end private and institutional clients into showroom visits and project inquiries. The site needed to communicate three things clearly: the breadth of their offer (interior architecture, furnishing & decoration, bespoke creation), the depth of their heritage, and the exclusivity of their showroom and brand partnerships.

What I did

As designer and Webflow developer on the project, I was responsible for the full site: visual design, page architecture, and build.

  • Visual direction — a restrained, gallery-like layout (generous white space, quiet serif/sans pairing, a single accent navy) that lets the furniture and interiors photography carry the emotional weight, echoing Maison Galli's own "elegance, sobriety, ergonomics" positioning.
  • Information architecture — organized the site around the three core services (Architecture d'intérieur, Ameublement & Décoration, Création sur-mesure), a dedicated showroom page to drive foot traffic to Bourg-de-Four, and an "À propos" page built around an interactive timeline telling the Galli family story from 1890 to today.
  • Webflow build — implemented the design as a fully responsive, CMS-driven Webflow site so the Maison Galli team can manage projects/realisations and showroom brand listings without developer help.
  • Brand storytelling — used the 130-year timeline and the Joanna Choukroun-Lévy profile as trust-building anchors, reinforcing that this is a family-run atelier rather than a generic decoration retailer.
